The PSCCW concluded a workshop on “Positive Masculinity and Gender Equality” for 12 students within the Media Technology Program from Palestine Ahliya University. The training took place over the course of two days of a total 10 training hours. The workshop primarily focused on building the capacities of students on topics related to positive masculinity and the inclusion of men to eliminate gender-based violence.
The training will be followed by a competition between 10 media initiatives conducted by the trainees. The initiatives will mainly focus on women’s rights where the two winning initiatives will receive a cash reward.
The training comes as a part of the “Life-Saving GBV Response” project, implemented in partnership between the Psychosocial Counseling Center for Women (PSCCW) and the Palestinian Family Planning and Protection Association (PFPPA) funded by the United Nations Population Fund (UNFPA) with the support of the Belgium government.
