As part of the “Aman Project,” which aims to strengthen resilience and social cohesion among youth and women in the Old City of Hebron, funded by the German government through the German Development Bank (KFW) and implemented by the United Nations Development Programme /Program of Assistance to the Palestinian People (UNDP/PAPP), The Psychosocial Counseling Center for Women (PSCCW) organized three dialogue meetings in Hebron. These meetings brought together a group of university students, in addition to a number of influential figures, decision-makers, local institution representatives, and tribal leaders.
These meetings aim to foster cooperation and interaction among different segments of society, and encourage constructive dialogue on community issues and best ways to support women and youth in light of current challenges.
The dialogue meetings covered several topics that were raised and discussed by the attending groups:
“Volunteering for Youth and Women and its Role in Strengthening Social Cohesion”, which was held at the High Council for Youth and Sports in Hebron on Tuesday, November 27, 2024.
“The Role of Palestinian Youth in Achieving Civil Peace in Hebron Governorate”, which was held at the Child Happiness Center, one of the facilities of the Hebron Municipality, on Wednesday, November 28, 2024.
“Tribal Law vs. Palestinian Law”, and was held at the Hebron Governorate building on Thursday, November 29, 2024.
