Hebron: The Psycho-social Counseling Center for Women (PSCCW) concluded a specialized training program in hydroponics, conducted at the Aman Center – H2 area / Hebron, which belongs to PSCCW. The training included the participation of ten women from the H2 community.
This training came as part of the Hydroponic Garden Project, which aims to empower women economically, environmentally, and psychologically, and to promote sustainable agriculture concepts in urban environments and areas with limited resources.
The program spanned 30 training hours, combining both theoretical and practical components. Participants learned the fundamentals of hydroponic agriculture, the installation and operation mechanisms of the Vertical System and the NFT (Nutrient Film Technique) system, providing them with hands-on experience in operating modern hydroponic systems.
The training included interactive sessions inside the center’s greenhouses, where participants had the opportunity to engage in direct application, group work, and practice farming using modern, environmentally friendly techniques.
This training is part of the “Aman” project, in cooperation with the United Nations Development Programme / Programme of Assistance to the Palestinian People (UNDP/PAPP), under the Investment Programme for Resilience (IPR), and funded by the German government through the German Development Bank (KfW).
