The Psychosocial Counseling Center for Women- Salfit Branch concluded a training course entitled “Positive masculinity and Gender Equality to Contribute in Ending Gender-Based Violence”.
The workshop targeted 18 trainees from the National Security Forces command of Salfit who recieved 4 training days of 8 hours, as part of the “Life-saving GBV Response” project, implemented in partnership between the PSCCW and the Palestinian Family Planning and Protection Association, and funded by the United Nations Population Fund with the support of the Belgian government.
The training aims to raise the participants’ awareness about concepts related to positive masculinity, in order to enhance the role of men in achieving social development through engaging them in initiatives and projects to combate gender discrimination gender-based violence, and become a step closer to achievie gender justice.
