Bethlehem: PSCCW announced the winners of the two best media initiatives out of 10 through a ceremony held on the university campus on Thursday 29/12/2022. These initiatives were carried out by Bachelor students of Interactive Media Program – Bethlehem University.
The students Younis Jaafara and Maryam Al-Maghrabi won cash prizes for the two best media productions, in which raise the issue of positive masculinity, that is after receiving a 2-day training, with a total of 10 training hours, that aims of building the capacities of the participants on the issue of integrating men into promoting positive masculinity and positive fatherhood as one of the effective tools in reducing gender-based violence.
The ceremony concluded with the distribution of certificates to the students who participated in the training, and then the two winning initiatives were presented to the audience.
This activity comes within the project:” Life-Saving GBV Response” project, implemented in partnership between the Psychosocial Counseling Center for Women (PSCCW) and the Palestinian Family Planning and Protection Association (PFPPA) funded by the United Nations Population Fund (UNFPA) with the support of the Belgium government”.
